Lompoc Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in on June 29, 2012, only to be arrested again in Mérida, Mexico, for parole violation. Labboun was in the company of two other Hezbollah operatives from Belize.

Judge Ronald M. Whyte sentenced Rafic Labboun to 27 months of imprisonment in a Federal jail followed by three years of probation. Judge Whyte also ordered the convicted felon to pay $102,000.00 in restitutions to the financial institutions which he had defrauded.
