Nabi Raza Mir (a.k.a. Nabi Raza Abidi)
From The Islamic Counterterrorism Institute

- You can bring Nabi Raza out of Alipur but you can never bring Alipur out of Nabi Raza!
Nabi Raza Abidi[1] (Arabic: نبي رضا عابدي; legal name: Nabi Raza Mir; Arabic: نبي رضا مير; born July 1, 1971) of Alipur (Urdu: علی پور), Karnataka, India, is the current pro-Iranian regime extremist resident cleric (imam) at Shia Association of Bay Area (SABA), the Khomeinist pro-Hezbollah[2] organization based in the heart of Silicon Valley, in San Jose, California.[3].
Nabi Raza was contracted by SABA Islamist center in 2002, where he replaced the convicted felon Rafic Labboun (a.k.a. Hajj Rafik) of Dahieh, Lebanon. Rafic Labboun is the highest-ranking Hezbollah cadre in Northern California. Prior to Labboun and Nabi Raza, SABA was led by Mudassir Ali Shah of Pakistan.

Nabi Raza Mir (a.k.a. Nabi Raza Abidi)
Nabi Raza Abidi is a firm adherent and a dedicated promoter of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini's Velayat-e Faqih (Farsi for Guardianship of the Jurisprudent. Originally from Arabic: Wilayat al-Faqih. Arabic: ولاية الفقيه) theory and a very strong supporter of the current Vali e Faqih, Ali Khamenei (Farsi: علی خامنهای. Arabic: علي خامنئي). In fact, Nabi Raza habitually offers congregational supplications in Arabic for the preservation of "ka'edouna" (Arabic for "our leader;" Farsi for rahbar), id est Khamenei, at the end of most of his speeches and religious ceremonies.
Nabi Raza in the United States of America
- Nabi Raza Unleashed
In February 2002, Nabi Raza Mir was fortunate enough to gain a temporary work visa and permission to enter the United States of America as he was contracted by Shia Association of Bay Area. This was a major breakthrough in the life of Nabi Raza, as America is the undisputed land of opportunities. Indeed, preaching in America is the dream and fantasy of too many pro-Velyat-e Faqih Shia-type Khomeinist clerics.
Interesting enough, a move into the United States by Shia-type clerics is, in too many cases, accompanied by an increased libido and an overwhelming desire to reproduce. This has been so true in the case of Nabi Raza: Since 2002 his family has had three new comers, all boys, masha'Allah. Nabi Raza has so far expanded his family with American kids by 150%!
Nabi Raza resided in the southern part of San Jose, CA, between 2002 and 2008. He then moved to Fremont, California.
Nabi Raza vs. Mudassir Ali Shah
- The clash of the
Titansmullahs
Mudassir Ali Shah, a cleric from Pakistan, is the first resident cleric to lead the congregation of Shia Association of Bay Area. However, after several years of service at SABA center, Mudassir fell out of favor with many of the powerful figures within the organization, especially Sajjad Mir, Akber Kazmi, and Muzaffar Ali Khan. Very sadly, the issue split the community into pro- and anti-Mudassir camps. Eventually Mudassir was forced to exit the association he had helped develop. But Mudassir did not leave alone: He took with him the disgruntled members of SABA center and together established the Islamic Center of Zahra (a.k.a. Azakhana-e-Zahra), PBUH, in Milpitas, California.

هداه الله

Rafic Labboun, a leading figure in the anti-Mudassir camp and a confident of Sajjad Mir and co., was chosen as the SABA center interim imam.
The conflict between Shia Association of Bay Area and Syed Mudassir Shah and his allies continued even after the latter's exit from the organization. When Nabi Raza Abidi moved to the Bay Area to replace Rafic Labboun, he too became entangled in this very bitter conflict.
Both parties were struggling for the hearts and souls of the local Shiites, regardless of their political affiliation or preferences (Khomeinist vs. authentic) or ethnicity (e.g., Afghan, Indian, Iranian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Pakistani, etc.). The main issues at stake were center memberships and attendance, which directly impact the all-critical level of donations and revenues collected by these organizations.
With more money coming into a center, the quality of the programs and serviced foods can be improved. A center that has a steady stream of high revenues can run PARALLEL programs in multiple languages (e.g., Arabic, English, Farsi, and Urdu) and usually brag about it. High attendance generates high donations, which buy better services, which lead to even higher and better quality attendance! This is the cycle of growth.
The level of attendance at a center also directly impacts the level of its outreach, which determines its domestic and international political influence (in far away places like Iran and Dahieh, Lebanon). So the struggle between the two main South Bay Shia centers was about real and tangible issues.
In the conduct of this conflict, Nabi Raza proved himself to be a seasoned Khomeinist politician and he easily gained the upper hand.
Nabi Raza vs. the United States of America
- Nabi Raza in America is a Nabi Raza on steroids: He sues, he rues, yet sometimes he has absolutely no clues!
In 2007, Nabi Raza, family, and Shia Association of Bay Area, sued Michael Chertoff, the second United States Secretary of Homeland Security, under former President George W. Bush, and co-author of the U.S.A. Patriot Act. Secretary Chertoff is also a de jure Israeli citizen. The law suit named many other U.S. government officials as well. In addition to Chertoff, the list of defendants included Alberto Gonzales, Emilio Gonzales, Christina Poulos and Gerard Heinauer.

The legal case is related to the visa status of Nabi Raza and his family. The U.S. government had been reluctant to renew their visa, but Nabi Raza had been unwilling to leave America — obviously the Karnatakan Khomeinist very much loves living in our country! Indeed, as of 2009, Nabi Raza had forgone five six priceless Hajj seasons so far for fear of denial of re-entry into the United States!! This is very much an implicit yet bold testimony by a Faqihi cleric, a graduate of the seminaries of Qom, and a follower of Ruhollah Khomeini and Ali Khamenei to the credibility and worthiness of lovely and beautiful America, for Nabi Raza has the choices of going back to at least Iran or India yet he has been sticking to Mama Columbia like industrial glue!

The Creatures Corvine
It's Iran and politics sub-waistline,
A great nation in a deadline,
Sodomy there is now "devine,"
The free man is concubine,
To Basij thugs and creatures corvine,
That's Khamenei's guideline,
Yet he claims the Prophet's bloodline!
Where other than in the United States and the West can a foreign guest sue the government officials of the country hosting him? Compare this with, say, the so-called Islamic Republic of Iran, where, in recent years, the government under Supreme Leader Ali "Rahbar" Khamenei has forcibly mass deported hundreds of thousands of Afghans, who are fellow Muslims and Farsi speakers as well, back into Afghanistan, a land torn apart by bloody conflicts and troubled by lack of security. What happened to the ithar (altruism) and the desire to give one's share to one's brothers? Indeed, as too many Faqihi mullahs tirelessly preach at the pulpits of Prophet Muhammad, PBUH&HF, "A Muslim who does not care about the fate of the Muslims is himself not a Muslim!" Is Ali Khamenei a true Muslim?!! Or is he just a ruthless politician and a deceitful demagogue hiding under a black turban and inside a vanity clerical robe??

Nabi Raza vs. Saudi Arabia
- Nabi Raza the liberator: Talking from behind a podium is for free in the country of the free...
In a speech at Shia Association of Bay Area in 2008, Nabi Raza called for the downfall of the Saudi regime, echoing the political stance of the oppressive Faqihi Iranian regime. He insisted that the Islamic holy cities Mecca (Arabic: مكّة) and Medina (Arabic: المدينة) are actually under "occupation" by the Saudis and demanded their immediate internationalization. (Obviously, Nabi Raza wants the Velayat-e Faqih Regime of Iran to have its say in the administration of these holy Arab cities!) The logic of his call for the "liberation" of Mecca and Medina, which are located in a sovereign country, is based purely on extremely limited sectarian thinking and very tight political affiliation.
Occupation occurs when an alien force invades a foreign land. This does not apply in the case of the Saudi royal family as they are native Arabians, specifically from Najd (Arabic: نجد). However, both Nabi Raza, who is a native of India and speaks Urdu, and the members of the oppressive Velayat-e Faqih Regime of Iran, who speak Farsi, are aliens in all of Arabia — not just Saudi Arabia. Interference in the affairs of the Arabs by such aliens is an undesired occupation.

Since the early days of Islam, Mecca and Medina have been pretty much under the direct rule of the Sunni majority. Nabi Raza's demand for the "internationalization" of these two holy Arab cities is actually a very irresponsible call for sectarian bloodshed and strife (Arabic: فتنة) in a Sunni-majority country that enjoys relative peace and prosperity. The economic stability of the world is directly tied to the security and stability of Saudi Arabia, as it is the largest producer of oil in the world. A civil war in Saudi Arabia is almost guaranteed to spread to its neighboring countries, halt the production of oil, and consequently bring the world's economy to its knees. This means wars and famine almost everywhere on the planet and the destruction of the U.S. economy. Yes, the power-hungry mad mullahs in Iran and Dahieh, Lebanon, keep rousing their semi-robotic mobs with "Death to America" frenzies; a civil war in Saudi Arabia is one way to make their death-to-America wish quickly come true!
No, thank you Nabi Raza, you are no hero! You have discredited yourself and disgraced your misguided followers. Anyway, if any holy cities should be ever internationalized, then we call for the internationalization of the Iranian holy cities of Mashhad (Farsi: مشهد) and Qom (Farsi: قم) first! And there is a very good cause for this: Saudi Arabia does not maintain a policy of denying Hajj (Arabic for pilgrimage. Arabic: حج) visas to people from specific countries, but, for almost 30 years, the Velayat-e Faqih Regime of Iran has been denying pilgrimage visas to Shiite Americans who want to visit Imam Redha, PBUH-3, at his shrine in Mashhad. This is a case of severe oppression and satanic discrimination by the Velayat-e Faqih Regime that stems from arrogance and bitterness, both of which are absolutely haram (Arabic for forbidden [by God]. Arabic: حرام) in authentic Islam.
Nabi Raza and Rafic Labboun
From Alipur to Dahieh with loveFrom Dahieh to Alipur with love: Labbay'ka ya Nabi Raza labbayk!
After the exit of Mudassir Ali Shah Moosvi from Shia Association of Bay Area Rafic Labboun (Arabic: رفيق لبون) replaced him as imam. Rafic preached in both Arabic and English at SABA center. He also performed duties such as praying over the dead and leading Jum'aah Jamaah (Arabic for Friday congregational. Arabic: جمعة جماعة) prayers. However, SABA Mosque needed a formally turbaned and robed resident clergyman who can preach in Urdu and Farsi and easily gather Khums (Arabic for one-fifth. Arabic: خمس) funds, for, at the time, the primary communities there consisted of Indians, Pakistanis, and Iranians. In 2002, SABA center finally found the answer it was looking for in the person of the Alipuri Karnatakan Khomeinist cleric Nabi Raza Mir Abidi.
Upon the hiring of Nabi Raza, Rafic immediately focused his mission on introducing his replacement to the various sub-communities of Shia Association of Bay Area (i.e., Afghan, Indian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Pakistani, and Persian). Nabi Raza needed a transition period. He did not hit the ground running, for he had to learn English and the culture of the United States. However, Nabi was helped by the members and visitors of SABA center. With the concurrence of God, the members of the general Bay Area Shia community eventually brought Nabi Raza up-to-speed.
With the Shia Association of Bay Area under the religious leadership of Nabi Raza, Labboun suddenly left to Lebanon where, among other special things, he translated a book and pursued a major business venture in Dahieh.

On January 12, 2009, while Labboun was on his way to Lebanon after a brief visit to the San Francisco Bay Area, he was arrested by FBI special agents and charged with bank fraud.
On April 1, 2010, a federal Grand Jury found Rafic Labboun to be guilty of seven counts of bank fraud. Apparently SABA's former imam ran an international bust-out scheme using his credit cards and bad checks.

Nabi Raza and Imam Muhammad al-Asi
Nabi Raza Abidi and Muhammad al-Asi are natural buddies, for both are committed anti-America Khomeinists. Nabi Raza has invited the infamous al-Asi to SABA on multiple occasions.

Nabi Raza and the deported mullah Mojtaba Beheshti
- "The best way to succeed in life is to act on the advice we give to others." (Author Unknown)
Nabi Raza Abidi met with Mojtaba Beheshti (Arabic: مجتبى بهشتي) in 2004 in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. Mojtaba, who is a Persian Shia cleric based in Qom, Iran, had joined the Hajj caravan of Hejrat Foundation - Masjid Al-Nabi of West Covina, California, while Nabi Raza was with the SABA Mosque Hajj group. The two clerics, who are both "sadat" and hence cousins who wear black turbans, quickly became close friends. Subsequently, Nabi Raza invited cousin Mojtaba to visit and preach at SABA center during the upcoming Ramadan season (2004). The latter, who was a U.S. permanent resident (i.e., a Green Card holder) at the time, readily accepted the lucrative offer.
Mojtaba is the son of the late Ayatollah as-Sayyed Ali Beheshti (Arabic: آية الله السيد علي بهشتي، رحمه الله), may God have mercy upon his soul. Ayatollah Beheshti was based in an-Najaf, Iraq, and was a dedicated student and follower of the late Grand Ayatollah as-Sayyed Abul-Qassem al-Khoei (Arabic: آية الله العظمى السيد أبو القاسم الخوئي، رحمه الله), may God have mercy upon his soul. Both Ayatollahs were staunch opponents of Ruhollah Khomeini's Velayat-e Faqih theory and openly rejected his oppressive and bloody practices.
Between 2004 and 2006, Mojtaba Beheshti visited SABA center several times and became highly active in the Shia community of the San Francisco Bay Area. He visited all the Shia-type centers located in the South Bay, including the Islamic Center of Zahra, Masjid al-Rasool, and the Iraqi Community Association. He also repeatedly participated in the once very popular Islamic Halaqa Program. Mojtaba also gained popularity due to his excellent prayer voice in both Arabic and Farsi, all-white beard, and blue eyes. (Mojtaba speaks perfect Arabic because he was born and raised in the Arab holy city of an-Najaf, Iraq.) Indeed, Mojtaba made a lot of serious cash money during his extended stays in the Bay Area.

In January 2007, Mojtaba Beheshti was arrested in Los Angeles, California. Apparently, there were some problems related to fraud with his Green Card. He was jailed for three days and lost his U.S. permanent residency status. Mojtaba was deported to Iran upon his release from prison.
Nabi Raza and Seyed Mahmood Mousavi of Hejrat Foundation
A tragic stroy, Seyed Mahmood Mousavi, president of Hejrat Foundation and Masjid Al-Nabi of West Covina, California (1505 W Garvey Avenue North, West Covina, CA 91790-2138), and, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), "a former interrogator for the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Iran," was arrested by Federal authorities on August 31, 2007.

Eventually, the case of Mahmood Mousavi went to federal court. On April 24, 2008, he was convicted of filing false tax returns, omitting Iranian military group membership on naturalization forms, and violating the U.S. economic embargo against Iran. He was sentenced to several years in prison.
Mousavi ran a pro-Velayat-e Faqih Khomeinist center and Nabi Raza frequented it quite often. This is not surprising as "birds of a feather flock together." Nabi Raza was at home at Hejrat Foundation and Masjid Al-Nabi. Indeed, one of the Iranian former board members in Mousavi's organization, Dr. Shahriar Heidary, sits now on the SABA Mosque board of directors per the direct request of Nabi Raza.
Mousavi is serving his sentence in the Communication Management Unit (CMU) at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Terre Haute, Indiana. FCC is a maximum security prison for adult males. It is located at the intersection of State Road 63 and Springhill Drive, two miles (3 KM) southwest of Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. FCC falls under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The medium security Communication Management Unit was created by the Justice Department. It houses about 213 inmates. The CMU monitors all telephone calls and mail. It also requires that all inmate conversations occur in English unless special permission is arranged for conversations in other languages.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons created the CMU in response to criticism that it had not been adequately monitoring the communications of prisoners. "By concentrating resources in this fashion, it will greatly enhance the agency's capabilities for language translation, content analysis and intelligence sharing," according to the Bureau's summary of the CMU.

The CMU is located in the former death row, and was opened in December 2006.
Nabi Raza and "Big Hank"
- It is time to be very frank with the "Big Hank!"
Nabi Raza and a "Big Hank?" (Arabic: "هانك الكبير". Transliteration: Hank al-Kabir.) That sounds alien and quite unlikely! Perhaps Nabi Raza and some maulana, mullah, or sheikh — that would be a more familiar territory. So who on earth is this "Big Hank?" How about "Nabi Raza and Clarence Reams?" Still not ringing a bell? In fact it is a quite familiar and expected company at SABA Mosque of San Jose, CA, for "Big Hank" is none other than the notorious imam Abdul Alim Musa (Arabic: عبد العليم موسى) — and this should blow a very loud whistle!
عبد العليم موسى
هداه الله

Abdul Alim Musa
Abdul Alim Musa was born Clarence Reams, which he considers to be his former "slave name." He is the ex-owner of Hank's Music Place of Oakland, California, and former president of East Oakland Enterprises. In flyers openly distributed at SABA Mosque Musa proudly states that during the 1960's and early 1970's he "operated the biggest and most successful criminal organization in all of Oakland." He further boasts that "later, in the 1970's, we operated a prosperous cocaine-smuggling operation from Bogota and Medellin, Colombia, through Culiacan, Mexico, into the United States."

The Gold Mine and Social Decline
Sniff, sniff, snow line,
High and drunk, not on wine,
Crack cocaine, white and shine,
Good money, and it's all mine,
Let there be social decline,
Let the people live like swine,
Their misery is my gold mine,
Sniff, sniff, snow line!
Clarence Reams was eventually arrested, put on trial, convicted, and sent to jail. He served his sentences in the following Federal prisons:
- The United States Penitentiary (USP), Leavenworth, which was the largest maximum security federal prison in America from 1903 until 2005. It is now a medium security prison. USP-Leavenworth is located in Kansas. It is an all-male facility committed to carrying out the judgments of the Federal Courts.
- The United States Penitentiary, McNeil Island, Washington. It is the only prison left in North America that is only accessible by boat or air. It is presently the site of the Washington's primary Special Commitment Center (SCC), where sexually violent predators are committed for treatment after completing their standard prison sentences.
- The United States Penitentiary at the Lompoc Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) near Lompoc, Santa Barbara County, California. USP-Lompoc is a medium security facility housing male inmates.

While in jail, Clarence Reams adopted a radical version of Islam. He emerged from prison as an "imam of a local Muslim community." Maulana Abdul Alim "Big Hank" Musa eventually evolved into a staunch full-fledged anti-America Khoumeinist!
The Far Shrine
Like feline my lives are nine,
Heard of Khomeini and his line,
"Great Satan" is his whine,
That too is my incline,
Looking far towards his shrine,
On Baba Khomeini I recline,
On his hatred I gladly dine,
My new life is just fine!
Maulana Nabi Raza Abidi and Maulana "Big Hank" are very good friends. Indeed, Adul Alim has given speeches at SABA center where he denounced the U.S. government and condemned President-elect Barack Hussein Obama. The American-born imam predicted that "Obama will do far more damage to Islam than President George W. Bush!"
"Big Hank" was also permitted to openly exhibit and distribute anti-U.S. federal government and anti-local governments flyers in the disgraced anti-Semitic center!
The Topline and the Ovine
Baba Khamenei is topline,
Drives the mobs borderline,
In America I'm his twine,
Our efforts we combine,
He is the master and I'm ovine,
His ambitions I underline,
His ideology I outline,
Minds of men we confine!
Maulana "Big Hank" is one of SABA's favored role models for he is an obvious inspiration to its disgraced leadership.
WARNING: Do not engage in criminal activities and cocaine smuggling and distribution in the hope of going to a U.S. penitentiary and becoming a famous extremist religious leader or imam/maulana. U.S. penitentiaries are NOT Hawzahs (religious seminaries).

Nabi Raza and the Federal Bureau of Investigations
- When it comes to national security, Nabi Raza is very useful either way!
Nabi Raza has met with special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The extent of the relationship between the two parties is unknown. The FBI has a very firm policy of not discussing the nature of its domestic and international connections with the general public — everything is kept secret for many understandable reasons. However, we certainly hope that Nabi Raza is contributing directly or indirectly to the efforts of the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to keep America safe and secure.
The FBI runs outreach programs designed to build relationships with the members of the domestic Islamic centers. These programs are designed to enhance the general national security of the United States. Sometimes, the FBI may be able to recruit informants and obtain crucial security leads and hints through outreach and other meetings. Consider such events to be at least ice-breakers if you will.
These meetings are important to provide the domestic Islamic communities with a sense of security and stability in the United States. After the traumatic events of 9/11, which were carried-out by rogue Islamist terrorists, a strong feeling of anxiety and insecurity rapidly developed among the members of the American Islamic communities. The meetings with the FBI and other U.S. government agencies gave American Muslims an assurance that they are protected from persecution by vigilantes and violent outlaws.
Speaking of 9/11, learn about the connection between the Iranian regime and the terrorists who attacked the United States:

Nabi Raza the business mullah
Nabi Raza went into business and was based in the United Arab Emirates (an afluent Arabian Gulf Sheikhdom. Arabic: الإمارات العربية المتحدة) for sometime; however his commercial ventures failed. Subsequently he focused on his religio-political role, which carries far less financial risks and yet offers significant monetary rewards.
Nabi Raza at Aligarh Muslim University
After Qom, Nabi Raza went back to India at some point, where he gained a position at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in the department of Islamic studies.
Nabi Raza in Qom
- Out of the Qomqom and on to Qom
Eventually, Nabi Raza Abidi moved from India to Iran to study at the Shia seminaries of Qom (Farsi: قم), the holy Iranian city located 97 miles to the southwest of Tehran (Farsi: تهران), Iran's capital city.
Nabi Raza's migration from the small and remote Karnatakan farming village to the more lively Qom has allowed him to widen his horizons and further develop his view of the world, for the holy Persian town attracts Shia clergymen and religious students from the different corners of the Islamic nation. It is there where Nabi Raza mastered the Farsi language and was able to meet and interact with nationals of Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, and more.
Early life
Birth in Alipur, Karnataka
- "Going by the simple profile of the village folk [in Alipur], Iran is still a remote land of Alf Laila [One Thousand and One Nights] imagination." —Maqbool Ahmed Siraj
Nabi Raza Mir Abidi was born in Alipur, a small remote backward Khomeinist village located in Karnataka, India. Alipur came to the attention of the Indian Government when workers from the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and the Grameena Abhyudaya Seva Samsthe (GASS) detected hundreds of cases of various types of disabilities in the tardy town. These were due to consanguineous marriages (marriage among close relatives)!
Nabi Raza is the son of Nader Ali Mir (Arabic: نادر علي مير). Nader Ali is a Karnatakan farmer.

The father of the son
The Islamic nickname of Nabi Raza is Abu Ishak (Arabic: أبو إسحاق). He can also go by Abu Ahmed (Arabic: أبو أحمد) as well. Abu is Arabic for "father of" (Arabic: أبو). In Islamic societies, but particularly in the Arab World, the "Abu" nickname is always for the name of one's first born son, though Iraqis are known to go by the names of their first born children regardless of gender — Kudos to the Iraqis. In the case of Nabi Raza, his eldest son has two names: Ahmed Mir (his legal name) and Ishak Abidi (his popular name). Ishak is Arabic for Isaac, the Prophet and son of Prophet Abraham (Arabic: إبراهيم، عليه السلام) and Lady Sarah (Arabic: ساره، عليها السلام), Peace be upon them all. Ahmed is the name of Prophet Muhammad, PBUH&HF, in the Heavens.
The education of Nabi Raza
Nabi Raza had apparently spent some 15 long years at the Shia seminaries of Qom, Iran, where he eventually achieved the rank of Hojjat-ol-Islam. He was issued a standard Qomi-style black turban (Arabic: عمامة) as he is considered by some people a sayyed (Arabic: سيّد). The rank of Hojjat-ol-Islam is supposedly equivalent to a "Ph.D." at some Shiite Middle Eastern universities.

Nabi Raza focused his academic studies on Islamic sects.
The turban style of Nabi Raza
It is possible to identify the city and country where a Shia cleric has completed his theological education on the basis of the style of his turban. The major Shia seminaries are located in the cities of Najaf and Karbala, Iraq, and Qom and Mashhad, Iran. But there are other seminaries in other countries where there are major Shiite communities, including India, Lebanon, and Pakistan.
Nabi Raza wears a black turban a la Qommi style.
Books and publications
Although Nabi Raza has been living in the United States since February 2002, he is not known to have formally published any books or papers through a publishing house. As of January 2012, a search of Amazon.com for "Nabi Raza Mir" or "Nabi Raza Abidi" does not yield any results.
Since February 2002, the focus of Nabi Raza has been on family, community, and center expansion. His formally published scholarly works, via foreign publishing houses, prior to 2002, if any at all, have not been made available to the Bay Area Shia community.
It must be noted that Nabi Raza has been supervising the Shia Association of Bay Area production of compilations about the Hajj. He has been also overseeing the production of the SABA Sunday school and Saba Academy religious curriculums and teaching materials. Generally speaking, Nabi Raza verifies the theological accuracy, of course from a Khomeinist perspective, of any written indoctrination works created by Shia Association of Bay Area.
