No doubt, terrorist mullahs are liabilities to their communities!

The Basij (Persian: بسيج) is the mobilization militia of the oppressive Velayat-e Faqih regime of Iran. The Basij was established by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the aftermath of the Iranian revolution of 1979, Ayatollah Khomeini issued a fatwa (Arabic for edict) for the establishment of a 20-million-man mobilization force to protect the Islamist revolution from both its domestic and foreign enemies. And so was born the Basij militia. It included among its members the very young, the very old, and every thing in between. Its membership was open to both males and females.

The Basij became highly popular among the Khomeinist masses in both Iran and foreign countries.

Nowadays, Basiji enthusiasts can be found throughout the United States, where they are active at pro-Velayat-e Faqih Islamist centers such as Fatimiyya Islamic Center of Hayward, California, and Shia Association of Bay Area (Saba Islamic Center) of San Jose, California.
